Classic Army

Classic Army

Classic Army is an airsoft manufacturer based out of Hong Kong that sells high quality airsoft AEGs. They are reliable, superior, and realistic. Unlike cheaper Chinese clones, Classic Army, known as CA, has great quality control to assure that all guns function flawlessly. Classic Army has been manufacturing for many years and has established itself as a top quality manufacturer. Because CA has been around for so long they have a large variety of guns to choose from, unlike some of the other big names who like to focus on the M4 and M16 variants. Other brands do not even come close to the variety of guns Classic Army replicates. This makes CA stand out as a leader among others.

With as many options as CA present, there is an endless amount of customization possibilities with their AEGs. No other company produces a larger variety of AEGs. They currently have replicas of the AUG A1, MP5A3 (called the BT5A3), SR-25, CA33E, G36, P90, Dragunov SVD, LWRC M6A2, M14 EBR, M14 wood stock, M15 variants,  M249 SAW, MK16 (SCAR), RPK-7, M41FS SAR, SLR105 (and all other AK variants), and the UMP. Everyone will be satisfied by CAs large selection of accessories. Each gun is also very customizable. No two guns will be the same. Think of the grenade launcher attachments, lasers, lights, vertical grips, scopes, red dots, silencers, RIS rails, stocks, pistol grips, magazines, and bodies you could be changing up and trying out. CA guns are so easy to customize because a large selection of aftermarket parts are available. Check out all the customization possibilities in the accessory shop.

The quality of CA guns has increased dramatically as the technology for airsoft guns has become more advanced over the years. CA gearboxes have been improved with a large number of upgraded parts, as well as stronger metal bodies. The CA guns that house V2 gearboxes have been reinforced so they no longer are susceptible to stress fractures towards the front. The gearbox now boasts 7mm bearings, new steel gears, high torque high speed motors, and a reinforced cylinder unit. This is a massive improvement on the standard, zinc gears that get chewed up, cylinders and pistons that break from wear.

CA has become the new standard in quality Airsoft guns and parts. When other brands were offering ABS plastic bodies, CA was giving the airsofters what they wanted, metal bodies. Metal feels so much better in your hands and on your gun. You do not have to worry about your gun breaking if you drop it during a fire fight. It also offers a more realistic appearance and feel. A major component of playing Airsoft is achieving realism; players get a more vivid sense of combat by having realistic Airsoft replicas.

I owned a CA M249 SAW for 3 years and I have to say, it was the best 3 years of my airsoft career. Every Saturday when I brought that thing out of its case people started getting anxious. I could see the other players lose hope as I loaded my 2,500 round box magazine full of BB’s. The full metal construction of the body, barrel, bi pod, and receiver glinted in the hot summer sun, as the other team started to strategize my downfall. As games started I ran into position and pulled the trigger, I enjoyed hearing the whine of the full metal gear box slamming the piston down as round after round tore through bushes and trees. I heard, Hit! after Hit! as the other team attempted to retaliate with harassing fire.

The CA M249 lasted 3 years without any maintenance, no repairs, and very little cleaning. I abused it heavily, dropping it, hitting it against trees as I ran through the woods, being partly submerged as I waded across rivers, and having so many rounds put through it. No other support weapon could compete; they were all made of plastic, cheap, and broke down mid game. Classic Army’s reputation of being the best is what convinced me to spend $600(almost 5 years ago) on that SAW. I would spend that again, but now they are $400 brand new!
